Good Afternoon!!
So I'm on Day 3 of the 30 day Shred and its getting a little bit better(DAMN U JILLIAN!). I actually kept up with the push ups (modified version-baby steps) but I am determined to see this work out through. I watched Losing It W/ Jillian and it definitely hit home. I always get emotional watching those shows. Seeing that black family step up and show their children the importance of health touched me and seeing the husband get emotional..ugh I was done!!
When I work out its usually twice a day for three times a week just so I can be fabulous (flowing hair and wear makeup)the rest of the week. I know it sounds bad but I just hate the way I look..all sweaty and such..EW. Enough complaining. I'll rough it out! lol
Hairstyles during the week usually consist of hair being wrapped, the fake bun lol, or my own hair in a ponytail.
Thank GOD I work from home.

Anyways..on to Weight Watchers
I'm still tracking (according to the Weight Watcher Program) and so far, so good. I need to up my water intake because lately I've been craving Diet Coke. Clearly I cant have that in my house..smh. But i do enjoy variety but I guess that will consist of Crystal Light and THEN water. :-(
I'm determined to just weigh myself twice a week and I will make that on Tuesday and Thursdays so I plan on posting that up here as well. Pray for me ya'll.

I think alot of my weight loss issues might be due to my boredom with food..Oatmeal, raisin bran, skinny cow-all of that gets old..especially when you like SOUL food or you come from a West Indian background (AND i come from BOTH-imagine how much GOOD but unhealthy food is cooked in my house) but today was ok..Got my extra ab workout in after work (which was awful today, lets NOT discuss) but all in all..i feel motivated. Til tomorrow..tootles :-)

I feel you about the food issue. That's the main reason why I could never stay on track but I am determined to eat good food during this lifestyle change. Good job with the workout and points!
ReplyDeleteI have a West Indian background also and I really do think that you can have the best of both world's,you just have to so it in moderation. Great job on the 30 day Shred! You and definitely be fit and fabulous and I know that you will be there in no time!
ReplyDeletelol, you are to funny. The part about the working out 3 days so you can look fab during the rest of the week, too funny. Now you got me thinking maybe I should change some things up, LOL. I do get tired of wearing buns just so I can work out. But at least you work from home, Lucky you! I need to find me a job where I can work from home, LOL!!
ReplyDeleteOh and with the meals, I'm the same way. I get bored easily but in the summer, I'm not as bored because there are so much more variety of fresh fruits and veggies. Try switiching up each week to see if that helps. Well Good luck to you!!
