When Enough IS Enough..

Shocking to Many-today I cancelled my weight watchers membership. After a 1 year 7 months and 1 day and 40lbs later I'm throwing in the towel. Not throwing it in on weight loss but the idea of the point system. I've lived by it but I am moving onto something more realistic. Its not the system of calorie counting but the acceptance that WW is not for everyone. I've reached a standstill and honestly being the same weight for months isnt working for me and my pocketbook. I'll attend meetings until the end of August and then I will blog about my new program. I know weight loss takes time but I am at my wits end. I looked at myself today and felt incredibly depressed. I am worn down and done BUT at the same time I will never be at the point to go back to 267 pounds! I already gave away my fat clothes anyways lol.

Anyone who is paying for the WW Monthly pass knows that $40 with no RESULTS feels like a complete waste of time and money. At this point in time it is an expense that I am willing to let go of. The program that I will participating in now is called BBD which stands for Body By Denise. If you live with the NYC area (usually Queens or Brooklyn) you might've heard of it. Body By Denise  (check the LINK!!!)is a 90 minute workout held on tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays. There are members who follow Denise' nutritional guideline and have lost 60, 80 100 plus lbs. My uncle is a faithful member who lost 20 lbs in a little over a month. Thats my goal for the remainder of this year. Keep me in prayer that this may be a blessing for me and my weight loss journey. I have to keep myself from thinking negative thoughts of that I may never be under 200lbs but I am willing to try something new. I'll keep you posted.
